As our practice navigates the ins and outs of dental insurance, we feel it is important to provide some insight on understanding dental insurance from a patient’s point of view.
We recently discontinued our network participation with Anthem Blue Cross/ Blue Shield and Delta Dental. We will continue to submit claims as out of network providers on our patient’s behalf to all insurance companies! How your claim is processed varies based on the specific contract that your policy provider has negotiated with your specific insurance company. Prior to your appointment, we are happy to confirm that your plan has out of network coverage and what your estimated co-payment (if any) may be.
We are finding that many plans continue to have excellent out of network coverage!
